Black love is everything... I’m sure we all grew up not really seeing images of ourselves or most of us not coming from complete families… The fact that there is a Black Love Day is amazing… To me black love is unity, community and strength…
This year I want the youth to see what love looks like… I want them to see that it's alright to let their guards down and trust someone… I want them see what real love looks like and most importantly I want them to hear what it takes to be in a real relationship, the good times and the bad… How you deal with each other on days when you can't stand each other and what it's like on days when the only person you want to talk to or be around is each other…
I want to celebrate Black Love and show the youth it does exist
